I’ve always loved Batman and watched all of the cartoons when I was a kid. After playing Arkham Asylum, I knew RockSteady had hit the jackpot. After seeing the insane awesome reviews for Arkham City, I knew I had to get it.

Unfortunately, I’m a bit low on funds at the moment so I’m not able to buy it myself. I would totally love to win it. :D

I’ve wanted to be Batman since I was 4. Seriously, it was my first halloween costume. I grew up watching the animated series in the early 90s, and I lived, breathed and repped Batman on my school bag and first watch.

As billionaire Bruce Wayne, he actually does something with his money – he’s an amazing philanthropist who gives a lot to charity, has Wayne Enterprises work on medical research, and is in general a pretty ethical guy (even though he enjoys some nice cars and a great manor). He makes most other billionaires look stingy, even someone like Gates! As Batman, he uses fear (what criminals use against the innocent) against the criminals themselves. He helps make the streets safe, so no one will lose their parents like he did. He solves society’s problems in both ways he lives his life, unlike many mostly-corrupt politicians. The costume is also pretty darn cool, and he seems to be good at everything one can teach themselves (chemistry, detective skills, martial arts, etc.) His skills are the result of hard work and dedication to his training, not some superpowers he was born with or acquired through chance. That kind of hard work is a model for success in life, and something that inspires respect in his fellow superheroes, like Superman and the Green Lantern. He dates Catwoman (who wouldn’t want to?). He also has an interesting psyche – full of conflict, emotion, and sometimes doubt, which he is careful not to show on the outside – where he is always stoic and stern and badass.

As the TV series disappeared, I slowly drifted away from Batman – I found the newer shows disappointing and the Batman videogames up until the Arkham series really sucked. Then came the Nolan films. Then Arkham Asylum, which was even more amazing. I’m a cash-strapped student, so I’d love to win a copy of Arkham City for Steam.

PS: Your Batman vs. Shark video made me lol. Post more Batman vids! I’m subscribed, so pick me :D
